First, the facades of the houses are painted with the colors mentioned above. Then the windows, doors, roofs and chimney can be glued on. To achieve a harmonious effect, we recommend painting the surface of the base antique white. The front of the birdhouse is an ideal surface for hand lettering. Use a branding iron to burn in your lettering as in our example.
Tip: If you are inexperienced in hand lettering, you can also print out a desired saying and transfer it to the wood using blue paper. You can then burn the lettering onto the wood with the branding pen. This will give you an individual and appealing lettering on the front of the birdhouse.
