Placing or draping an advent calendar is always one of those things. Often the right place in the apartment is missing to place the Advent Calendar over several weeks.
Today'sAdvent Calendar is completely different - the creative Advent calendar impresses with its compact design and handy format. The doors of the advent calendar are many small boxes made of solid Kraft paper and are on a canvas.
Here's how it works
1. Prime the Stretched Canvas in a nice shade, matching the decoration, wall color, etc
2. Take the box template and transfer it to the Kraft paper. When choosing paper, make sure that the paper is at least 250 gsm.
3. Cut the Kraft paper according to the template newspaper and fold a total of 24 small boxes
4. Punch out shapes from coloured Motif cardboard. with a Motif Punch In our example we have punched out a toothed circle and a heart for all boxes. Stick the punched paper forms onto the doors of the boxes. Afterwards you can attach further forms or label the doors with the numbers 1 - 24.
5. Arrange the finished boxes on the lying Stretched Canvas . We recommend an arrangement of 4 rows of 6 boxes each, one above the other. Make sure that the doors of the boxes can all be opened either upwards or downwards. This makes it easier to open them later.
6. Glue the boxes with hot glue or double-sided Adhesive tape to the Stretched Canvas. Make sure that the boxes are glued straight and flush.
7. For the finishing touches, you can stick on additional Embellishment or half pearls on the Stretched Canvas . Christmassy designs are ideal for this. Also the Stenciling of a text with lighter color is possible. With a little stamping ink you can also apply the hip Shabby look to the edges of the Advent calendar. Simply wipe carefully along the edges with Ink Pads .
8. The crowning touch to Advent Calendar is to wrap the boxes with a Christmassy Jute ribbon.
You can decorate the Advent Calendar with lots of little things, sweets or small gifts.
