Beeswax tissues with gift wrap
Instructions No. 1933Oilcloths are a great alternative to aluminium and cling film - environmentally friendly and reusable! Wrapped or covered with these great wax cloths, your food will stay fresh for a long time and can be easily taken along. Wax cloths can be made from cotton fabrics at your own discretion and are flexible and sustainable. In the self-made packaging, the practical wax cloths are also a great gift.
From the Kraft paper and the "envelopeStencil" an envelope is produced. Before gluing together, transfer the template with the honeycombs onto the envelope with graphite paper and cut them out with the cutter knife. Cut out the outlines of the honeycombs with a white Marker follow up. Press your desired Clear Stamp onto an acrylic block, apply stamp ink to the motif and press it onto the envelope.
Likewise, a lettering can be printed out at will and glued Glue pads to the envelope or decorated with scattered parts.
Making the oilcloth
For the stamp motives on the fabric, please use textile- . With textile pens, sayings can be written on the fabric.
Important: The fabric must be ironed before waxing.
Put some wax beads on the fabric, cover it with baking paper and iron the wax beads slowly. You can always put more wax pastilles on the fabric. Then cut the fabric with the pinking shears. By hand warmth this can be put now quite simply over e.g. a bowl or wrap something in it.
