Toröööö... our little elephant makes an excellent puzzle for the little ones. With simple means you make this cute puzzle yourself. With the elephant puzzle the finger-eye concentration of the children is trained and they enjoy playing with the little trunk friend. Thanks to the food-safe clear varnish, it is also not bad if a piece of the puzzle is taken in the mouth. By the way, it is also an excellent present for the grandchild, godchild or any other puzzle-enthusiastic child.
This is how you make the great puzzle:
Place the 15 wooden sticks straight next to each other and fix them with 2 strips of crepe adhesive tape to create a stable surface on which you can paint.
Transfer the large pattern onto the wooden spatulas using graphite paper and paint the motif as desired with craft colours. Use fineliners to complete the outline of the design and, when dry, apply two coats of food grade clear lacquer. Allow the clear lacquer to dry well in each coat.
Transfer the small pattern onto the box lid and paint the edge with craft colours. In our example we have chosen mint. The motif is now coloured with pens such as coloured pencils, Koi brushpens or craft colours. The outlines are again drawn with fineliners.
