Make simple Terracotta-pots into little colourful flowers to hang up! The pots are marbled. The bellflowers provide colour in the home and outside in the garden on the still bare branch.
Terracotta Marble pots
For this technique special Colour for marbling needed. Before marbling, it is recommended to prime Terracotta pots with white paint. This makes the colours shine especially well.For marbling, a bucket is filled with water as described in the product instructions. Only a small amount of Colour for marbling (2 - 3 drops per colour tone) is dripped into the bucket. These drops form a colour film on the water surface.
With the help of a brush or a small stick, patterns are drawn into the coloured surface according to personal taste.
Protect your hands with household gloves. Reach into the Terracotta-pot and pull it through the water. During this process, the coloured surface water sticks to the pot and creates a pretty marbled colour pattern.
How to turn Terracotta pots into little felt flowers
Make small flower petals from matching coloured craft felt . For this idea, simple triangles were cut out and then glued into the pot (inner edge) using double-sided Adhesive tape .Alternatively you can cut out larger petals. To be able to bend them "into shape" and to prevent the large felt leaves from covering the decorative pistils (Acrylic- egg), we recommend working with modelling felt
Thread one wooden bead at a time on a string, put it from the inside through the hole of a pot, put both ends of the string through another ball, make a knot and use the string later as a suspension
Finally glue white decorative eggs with hot glue into the flower pots as pistils . Now simply hang the flowers with bows on a branch.
