From simple Terracotta with Krakelur-Paste, Napkin technique and a little bit ofcolour a decoration with almost antique Patina. The Mediterranean motif of Napkin fits perfectly with the new look.
Here's how it's done:
First unscrew the metal holder from the tile and then prime it with adhesive paint. This guarantees an optimal connection between the scribble paste and Terracotta. the adhesive lacquer. After the adhesive lacquer has dried, apply the scribble paste with a Spatula several millimetre thick layer and let it dry overnight. As a rule of thumb: The thicker the paste is applied, the wider the cracks will be.
When the paste is completely dry, tear it into Napkin four equal parts and remove the two unprinted layers of paper. Then glue the large motif onto the Napkin varnish cracked surface of the roof tile. Fill in any free spaces with additional napkin pieces. Cut back the excess with Paper a scalpel when it is dry Napkin varnish .
For the -effect, wPatinaipe a little brown with Handicraft paint a damp Paint sponge cloth over the surfaces and edges. This settles more and more in the cracks, giving the impression of an old, weathered shingle. If you want to set stronger accents, use a dry sponge for this wiping technique. Finally, screw the holder back on and insert the glass.
