Are you still looking for a great decoration idea for the winter? Then we have just the thing for you. Our VBS winter display is mainly made of cardboard rolls and thus creates a unique look.
Fir tree:
1. First, mitre-saw the cardboard rolls into different lengths. Then sand the edges with sandpaper to create smooth edges.
2. Then paint the cardboard rolls with Maja Gold Stardust and allow the paint to dry completely. Hold the cardboard roll crosswise and then poke a hole in the middle, top and bottom with the awl. Then stick a round stick through it.
3. Then put a wooden ball between the cardboard rolls and fix the Christmas tree to the wooden disc with a little craft glue.
Father Christmas:
1. First divide the cardboard roll into two pieces of different sizes. The larger piece will later become the body of Father Christmas. Paint it fire red with Maja Gold.
2. After the body has dried, draw the belt with the Posca marker and paint the belt buckle with Maja Gold Stardust.
3. To create the hat, paint a slanted piece of the leftover Christmas tree. After this has dried, glue a piece of the plush ribbon around the bottom edge with craft glue.
4. Now, to make Santa's face, you need to stick plush ribbon onto the smaller cardboard roll. Leave the tape hanging down in one place, as this is where the beard will come from. When dry, cut the beard to a point.
5. Cut an oval out of a leftover piece of the cardboard rolls and stamp a face on it with the Clear Stamps. Then stick it onto the plush ribbon with a little craft glue.
6. now glue Santa together and attach his broom with some craft glue.
Landscape:
1. First glue the moss mat to the grey board and cut it to the desired size. Then coat the moss mat with decorative snow.
2. Then glue the trees and Father Christmas onto it. Paint the sleigh and the scattered stars with Maja Gold Stardust. After both have dried, glue the stars to the fir trees and place the sleigh on the moss mat together with a few presents.
