Prime the Polystyrene-eggs with Madder Red dark or with a mixture of Vanilla and very little Chr. oxide green.
Tip: The easiest way to do this is to wipe the paint onto the eggs with a Paint sponge .
Crochet the shells for the eggs:
Strike 6 LM, close with a KM to the ring.
1. Round: crochet 3 loops, then 13 tr in the ring. Close the round with one KM.
2. Crochet 4 sts round, then 13 tr on the tr of the front round, with 1 sl st in between each. Close the round with one KM.
3. Round: Crochet 1 dc in the first ch of the front round, then crochet round arches (5 ch and 1 dc in the ch of the front round). Crochet the last bow with 3 dc and 1 tr in the first dc of the first bow, so the thread in the bow is automatically on top.
Continue Crochet bows like 3rd round, crocheting dc in each case in the middle dc of the bows below.
Crochet two equal parts, each reaching to about half the height of the Polystyrene-egg. Then crochet both parts together around the egg. Crochet the bow to the two parts alternately with a dc after 2 lm.
Wrap the finished eggs with Jute ribbon, natural bast and decoration-Ribbon and place them in a willow wreath padded with natural bast.

Extra tip:
When crocheting the two crochet pieces together the egg should be inserted as late as possible. This way the two half shells can be joined together much easier.
