Description
The trendy chalky effect is now also available for heat-resistant and smooth materials. The KREUL Glass & Porcelain "Chalky-Set" contains one of the most popular Selection colours for decorating glass and porcelain with a velvety, matt surface.
The KREUL Glass & Porcelain "Chalky" paint consists of at least 60% sustainable raw materials of natural origin and is water-based. The paint is well covering and dries with a chalk look matt. The KREUL Glass & Porcelain "Chalky" paint can be perfectly combined with the other variants of the KREUL Glass & Porcelain series. Thus, unique designs and different accents can be set. For various Aquarelleeffects and to thin the paint, KREUL Glass & Porcelain "paint thinner" should be used, which does not affect the adhesion of the paint after baking.
A pencil is recommended for freehand drawings. Here it is important to ensure that the lines are not painted over, so that they can be easily removed again after baking. Graphite paper can be used very well for transferring motifs. The glass and porcelain paint is applied with a paint of any strength Hair brush .
The KREUL Glass & Porcelain "Chalky" needs about 4 hours to dry through. For a permanent hold, the painting must be baked at about 160 °C. For this purpose, place the object in the cold oven. Only when the required temperature has been reached does the 90-minute baking time begin. In order to complete the stoving process correctly, the object must cool down in the oven. Afterwards the paint is waterproof, dishwasher safe and saliva-proof.
Important! Since KREUL Glass & Porcelain paint is not food safe, surfaces that come into contact with food should not be painted. Drinking rims or inner surfaces of glasses and cups, useful and eating areas as well as cut surfaces of plates should therefore be left out.
As long as the paint is not baked on, the painting can simply be wiped off again with water. In this way you can create temporary designs with various effects on many plastics, mirrors and acrylic glass.
Design individual glasses, vases or plates with the KREUL Glass & Porcelain "Chalky-Set". A self-designed Wind light becomes a real eye-catcher for the presentee.

Tips for use
Applicable to: Heat-resistant objects made of e.g. porcelain, glass, ceramics, Terracotta and metal.
Preparations: The surface must be clean, free of grease and smooth. Cleaning by hand! Do not put it in the dishwasher, so that no beading effect is applied.
Processing: The paint is applied with a soft Hair brush one. Use the KREUL Glass & Porcelain paint thinner to dilute the paint so that the adhesive power is maintained after baking.
Drying time: Objects should be dried for approx. 4 hours (lying down).
Finishing work: For baking, place the object in a cold oven. Set the oven to 160 °C. Only when this temperature is reached, bake for another 90 minutes. Allow the item to cool in the oven. The item can then be cleaned and used again.
This must be taken into account: Only apply to surfaces that do not come into contact with food. Use and eating areas, drinking edges, the inside of cups or glasses and cut surfaces on plates should not be painted.
