With
photo transfer, photos, images and lettering printed with a laser printer are transferred to flat surfaces such as wood, glass or stretched canvas . The prints look best on a white or very light background. The printed motif side of the printout is first covered with
Photo Transfer Medium. The Paper is then placed on the design surface with the coated side facing down. With a scraper or
Folding bone the print paper is firmly applied. Remove any adhesive residue immediately with a paper towel. After drying, the glued Paper is moistened with water. The softened Paper is now rubbed off so that only the printed ink layer remains fixed. The result is a visually appealing used look.
In comparison to transfer marker , photo transfer is also mainly used for large-area motifs.
Extra tip: The print colors look even more intense when coated.
What is Transfer Paper?
Transfer Paper has been specially developed for transfer techniques. This is already printed with a motif in mirror image. Transfer Paper is particularly easy to transfer, the motif is then clearly visible with virtually no remaining layers of paper. It is used together with Photo Transfer.
Do you already know the transfer marker?
The transfer marker is extremely easy to use and provides exceptionally good and finely transferred motifs. They look as if they have been printed on. No paper residue is visible on the surface. When it comes to transfer techniques, the transfer marker is by far the easiest and most convenient method of transferring an image printout or lettering: Simply print out the image mirror-inverted, place the motif with the print side on the design surface and stroke over the Paper with the transfer marker .
Even if the pen is somewhat odorous, the color particles of the image print are released from the Paper by the pen and transferred to the surface of the substrate. This even works on Paper!
