In these instructions we present the winner-Advent Calendar by Maria R. The creative Advent Calendar was chosen at the Advent Calendar-handicraft competition 2014 by our VBS-Jury of experts selected one of three winning calendars. This Advent Calendar consists of two sets of 12 gift boxes in which the 24 Advent gifts can be hidden. It offers space for big and small surprises and beautiful decorations.
This is how you decorate the boxes:
First you paint the boxes completely with green Acrylic paint . The colours can vary according to your wishes, but green is especially recommended during the Advent season. The lid of the boxes is primed white. The edges of the lids can then be alternately covered with masking tape, ribbons and Paper strips . In this way you get a colourful mixture of decorations.
Cut out circles from some firmer cardboard paper and stick the Advent calendar numbers on them. You can design the numbers yourself or copy them from templates. You can give free rein to your creativity or adapt to the taste of the presentee
Then place the numbers on the sides or on the lids of the boxes and stack the finished boxes according to the size, the order or the order of the numbers.
