Make your personal gnome unique pieces from wooden spools and Felt.

Here's how it works

Cut thin strips from the design Felt Use fabric scissors for this, as they glide more precisely and easily through the Felt . Glue the Wooden ball with hot glue on the Spool and laminate the transition with a piece of Jute yarn. Now apply hot glue to the middle of the coil and wind the felt strips and Jute yarn around the middle until it looks a bit bulbous. Fix the ends with hot glue and tie a felt strip over them for lamination.

Now cut a triangle from the Felt, and form it into a pointed cap and glue the ends together. The opening of the cap should reach to max. middle of the Wooden ball , depending on the desired look of the little gnomes. Now glue the pointed cap on the ball and cover the transition with Jute yarn.

Now fix the wooden hemisphere as a nose on the elf's head, draw the face of the elf with a Fineliners and tie the tip of the cap together with a piece of Jute yarn .

You can redesign these gnomes again and again - not only in wintertime. With cute accessories such as bows, ribbons, buttons or scattered pieces you can turn the gnomes into real unique pieces in no time.
