What is UV resin?
UV Resin is a synthetic resin that hardens under UV light and is much easier to use than conventional epoxy resin. While conventional epoxy resin has to be mixed with two components, UV Resin can be used straight from the product packaging.
Another big advantage is that it cures in minutes under the UV lamp. Making UV resin jewellery
Start by mixing the resin and glitter well in a mixing cup. Make sure to distribute the glitter evenly to ensure an even result in your finished piece of jewellery.
Carefully pour the mixed resin and glitter mixture into the moulds provided. Be careful not to overfill the moulds to achieve a clean result.

Cure the resin under a UV lamp. This usually takes a few minutes, but check the manufacturer's specific curing times.

For a luxurious finish, place some resin on the edge of the mould and allow it to harden completely. Coat the hardened edge with gold leaf and gently brush over the edge with a soft brush to avoid crumbs or unevenness. Once the edge has been finished with gold leaf, fill the remaining part of the mould with resin and allow it to harden again.
